So I was driving the other day with my 13 year old riding shotgun. He is staring out the window and lets out a loud, long {SIGH}.
"What are you thinking about?" I asked.
"Nothing at all" was the reply.
I thought about that for a minute and this big lightbulb went off in my brain.
I really do think men can sit, stare out the window and think about nothing. That is a novel idea for me because I think as women, that doesn't happen a lot.
Really, truely, males can do, say and think NOTHING! Huh.
Lightbulb.
Do your men do this?

1 hr bread recipe
Here it is with all the appropriate links.
10 1/2 cups bread flout (do not use all purpose) I used multigrain
1/2 cup sugar
1 tbsp salt
3 rounded tbsps instant yeast
3 tbsp liquid lecithin (squeeze or pour directly into bowl, do not measure, its a pain to clean up)
4 cups hot tap water
Mix dry ingredients. all lecithin and water. mix for 1 minute and check consistency. if dough is too dry add more water. Dough should be very sticky. Mix for 5 minutes. spray counter and pans with Pam. Shape loaves and cover with a dish cloth for 25 minutes. bake at 350 for 25 minutes. This makes 4 loaves.
*For whole wheat bread use the same recipe but add one cup of applesauce as part of the hot water and 1 additional tablespoon lecithin. Mix for 10 minutes.
Where this recipe came from
Info on Lecithin
I'm not sure where mom bought her lecithin but I think she said Hill's Panty. I'll find out for you.
Happy Baking!

FHE
big ideas
I had this great idea to catch up on my blogging by posting pictures from the things that happened in December, January and February. It'd be quick to do and look at and get me caught up. Well, Perry bought me a camera to take with me when I went to the Dominican with my fab sister and SIL. It was great! The camera and the trip. But now I'm trying to get those pictures off the camera and the computer won't read the card. They are there. I can see them on the camera, but stinkin' thing won't transfer to the computer. So, take my word for it that I was gonna share....LOTS! And I will as soon as I get this figured out.
Adios!
