crafting again...

So I made these cute handouts for visiting teaching this month. I am going to put some cookies inside. It talks about weaving the gospel into our lives.



Simple, easy, fun to do.It has totally reminded me how much I love crafting! This is a really bad time to remember that as on my "to do" list this week I have:

1. finish emptying boxes from our move almost a year ago. Dang my sister who moved 6 weeks ago and doesn't have a box to be found in her house. I've been inspired {feel guilty} and need to get this done!
2. finish cleaning out the flower bed at the front of the house. The previous owners planted a really ugly tree and put really ugly rocks all around it. I've got the tree out (to be replaced with bubbling boulders) and the rocks on the sidewalk. Now I just need to put the rocks somewhere else, get the water rocks and then spread black bark all around. It'll look great!
3. dig out all the plants/weeds beside the driveway and cover with black bark.
4. Figure out how to put my tomato plants in the yard somewhere where Rollie won't pee on them. Maybe on a plank supported by saw horses. I'm not looking for it to be an eye sore though...
   
5. change about 50 light bulbs in my house.
6. hang some pictures.

Pick and choose,right? But I want to do it all!

According to the Official Scrabble Players Dictionary "Puncrail" does not exist.
Good thing too, because I have no idea what it means.

Don't you hate it when...

• your mashed potatoes turn into white glue?
• your 3 year old feeds your dog half a container of doggie treats?
• a laundry soap sheet sneaks past the guard on the washer drain hose and plugs it all up?
• you didn't buy a really cool flower pot at Costco and now they are all gone?
• It snows in May?
• Your 3 year old knows the real name of guns because of an ipod app?
• You go downstairs for the first time in who knows how long and its a DISASTER???
• You son empties the toilet paper role because he wants to make a gun with the tube its on?

But don't you love it when...

• Your boys have a contest at the dinner table to see who can eat the most asparagus?
• you beat your best score at Whizz Word?
• Your 6 year old tells you he likes your hair that way without any prompting?
• Your hubby comes home for "lunch"?
• You figure out how to do something on the computer all by yourself even though your 6 year old could have done it for you?
• You 11 year old has to bake a cake tonight because its one of his chores?
• You figure out what to do for your Sunday calling before Saturday night?
• You 13 year old snuggles with your baby just because?
• You try a new recipe and everyone eats it?
