We're Home!!

What a fabulous time we had!
I only have a minute and I don't have any pictures uploaded onto the computer yet, but I thought I'd share some memorable moments from each of my children.

Ryan - "There's tonnes of junk in my trunks!"
background - the boys went body surfing lots! (Cam said he wasn't body surfing - just swimming with the waves!) After the first time Ryan had changed his clothes and came out of the bathroom and said "Be careful about the floor - there was tonnes of junk in my trunks!" I was a little nervous until I looked and saw the floor covered in sand and shells etc. I think this phrase was used daily after that because it always made us laugh.

Noah - The beach area had little pools that you could swim in to cool off and such. The day after the boys had swam with the dolphins they were in this pool and Noah said "Watch everyone - I'm going to be a dolphin." He then went under water and jumped up doing a twist and landed on his belly. He continued to do this for a couple of minutes and Cam joined in. It was too funny! Cam was pouring water on the deck of the pool later so that he could do a "Sea Lion Slide"

Cameron - Loved to body surf! The first day while he was figuring it out he'd go under the wave and then jump up and say "I just got pounded!" After the 2nd day it changed to "I didn't get pounded!" Cam had the best rides because of his life jacket (which I am soooo glad we took!). The jacket would keep him afloat and he could ride out the end of the wave when eveyone else was beached. Of course, his definition of a great ride was whether or not he got pounded, not how far he went!

Kai - What do you do to get noticed everywhere you go? Take a curly haired blonde 1 year old who started to say "ola!"! His hair got curlier as we got closer to POP, and straighter as we flew farther away! All the locals stopped to pat his curls and say "Ola!" He'd charm them right off by saying it back - which made them laugh and pat his head again and it was a continuous circle. He did great the whole trip - still have a 3 hour nap in the afternoon which gave us a little down time everyday and was happy as could be.

This is longer than I intended and I really have to go! We got home at 3:30 this morning and I just got up. I need to get a few things done before the boys are moving around.

~Ola!
